Strategies for handling the aftermath of Bad News
When the shock of bad news has been absorbed, a variety of reactions may follow. It is not possible to predict the exact reaction of any individual to bad news, but the following reactions are commonly experienced. This section gives strategies for handling some of the reactions, which you may see in patients and relatives.
